Project: Mechanical Baby / Client: Creature Effects Inc
3D laser scan & mechanical design of a crying baby. The entire system is life like, 1:1 scale, and totally self-contained. Designed for use in film & television.

Project: Flight Controller Bases / Client: Joint Task Simulations
Pilots are required to maintain a minimum number of simulator hours, with full-sized units over booked, utilizing these portable desktop units, they are able to continue honing their skills anywhere, anytime.

Project: Spiral Bound Book Binding Machine / Client: PEL Industries
PEL designed and built their physical proto-type. Their focus was dedicated on the design & making parts. PEL ran into a road block when it came time to go into production from lack of support documentation. Datum3 was asked to reverse engineer their system, reproducing a virtual product allowing them to proceed with generating manufacturing, assembly, BOM queries & support/maintenance documentation.

Project: Custom Die Cutter / Client: Present Presenters
A product created as an accessory for gift wrapping, Datum3 was asked to reverse engineer and design a custom die cutter to trim their character card holders for mass production.

Project: Physical Aid for the Golf Industry / Client: Goddit Products Inc.
As a golfer experiences the pains of life, constantly bending down to pick up markers, golf balls & replacing divots, Goddit developed a product that will do it all without the need of bending down. Datum3 was asked to assist developing a virtual model, refining and validating their concept before building their marketing proto-type.
